Archaeology on Hatfield Moors!

A Neolithic trackway and platform was recently discovered on Hatfield Moors. It is currently being investigated by researchers at the University of Birmingham. More information will be made available when investigations are completed, but recent news may be accessed by following this LINK.

Appeal for sightings of Adders.

Thorne Moors Adders Map

It is intended to compile a summary of the spatial distribution of Adders on Thorne Moors from 2004-8. It is requested that anyone who finds an Adder on Thorne Moors in 2008 in any of the 1km squares coloured yellow on the Adder Map notifies Martin Limbert (Doncaster Museum) or Steve Hiner (Natural England).
